Jobs & Positions Sales Representative - Raleigh/Durham, NC Company Social eMotion is a startup founded in January of 2011. We have launched a mobile application called miPlaces which is focused on pairing loyal customers with their favorite merchants. Through the mobile marketplace, we are expanding the social presence of our network merchants to grow and solidify their customer base. Position Overview We are looking for an energetic, motivated person to join our company. You will be working for a funded startup in a fast moving and exciting market. As a sales representative for Social eMotion, you will be reaching out to local merchants to help build their customer base through our miPlaces product. Sales leads can come from within our own application through the users, from referrals by merchants in our network and through research of our potential client base. Responsibilities - Contact local merchants from leads developed through our user base or network referrals to sign up for our loyalty service - Reach out to local merchants by market research of potential clients to expand our subscription base - Highlight miPlaces as an application which will help to bring in loyal customers and attract new ones through the miPlaces network Requirements - Sales experience, preferrably 1-2 years, with local businesses in the Raleigh-Durham and surrounding areas - Experience with cold-call sales and expanding a client base through finding new leads without referrals - Familiarity with smartphones, preferrably Android, social networks and online advertising Compensation / Benefits - Please provide expected compensation in application submission Send resume for application consideration to contact@social-emotion.com. -
